Maybe try giving him a little flashlight to carry in his pocket and explain that it will light up dark places. But, I have a 9 month old and have not encountered too much! Yet! Have you gotten your period since you delivered? I haven't...but I also breastfed. Is that right?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-635942854902845915.post-36467857706233990162009-01-08T13:32:00.000-06:002009-01-08T13:32:00.000-06:00Poor guy! That is a tuff one. We had our first dont want to go to bed fit last night. Isn't 18 months too early for this? I'll get back to you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-635942854902845915.post-68254673477460221732009-01-08T20:15:00.000-06:002009-01-08T20:15:00.000-06:00Lucius has also recently started joining us in the...Lucius has also recently started joining us in the bed during the middle of the night. I have always put him to bed with the light off. But now, he either has to be asleep when we put him into bed, or I have to leave hall light on until he goes to sleep. (then turn it of later) However, in both cases, when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he just gets his pillow and blankie and comes and pats me on the arm. We haven't found the answer yet either.
Another funny thing....Lucius has always hated loud noises. The vacuum cleaner still scares the poor baby!!!
Good luck!!!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-635942854902845915.post-52608924015200068362009-01-08T22:04:00.000-06:002009-01-08T22:04:00.000-06:00and they are only a few weeks apart in age, so i k...and they are only a few weeks apart in age, so i know a lot of it is just that. this age. this is when fears develop. this afternoon i took him in dark rooms while i held him and let him shine his flash light all around and got him to point to things and talked about how brave he was. we'll see.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-635942854902845915.post-17783989610093573662009-01-13T00:17:00.000-06:002009-01-13T00:17:00.000-06:00You may even want to try a Super Hero Toy. Walmart has bears that light up when hugged.

Have the teacher warn him when the bell is about to ring.
