i gotta question...or a few. my new kitchen cabinets are gonna be cherry. my table and chairs are honey. and yes, it has to go in the breakfast area b/c we never use a formal DR. anyway, my question is this...should my bar stools be cherry? or maybe a metal, like wrought iron? (which i already have accessories that are.)

next, how high am i supposed to hang my curtain rods? and am i gonna have to make my curtains if i get them on up there? or can i find some commercially that will work for hanging them high?? and when is it appropriate to use bamboo roman shades?

who is gonna help a sista out? i would like my house to be style and not vile. know what i mean??

where oh where would i be without sisters like yall? let me tell ya...UP THA CRICK. (and yes, i know it's creek. i'm just being silly.) anywho, just to update you on what you have been so diligently praying for, we went out to the green tonight to look at another house. and i won't lie...it was gorgeous. but the layout...the layout was...ramble-y. the 4th bedroom was waaaay across the house. and we'd have to put up a fence immediately. it was a little more. i went to it tonight thinking i may like it just as much. but i didn't. and we were able to come to an agreement with the seller of house A and we are super excited about it!! so, looks like if all goes well with the home inspections, i'll be moving in mid june...40 days. and don't think i won't be asking you to pray about that cause during that time, i'll also still be taking care of my kids (since preschool is over next week) and packing for a week at the beach...and planning a birthday party. (i'm sure i've mentioned it.) anyway, all that to say, i just love yall. you lift me up and for that, i owe you considerably.

sheer and utter giddiness may come close to describing how i feel. man oh man what a year. we confirmed an offer with the couple who wants to buy. we will need prayers that everything is ok or can be settled with the house inspection next week. we are going to look at 4 houses tonight. we know which one we want, and i am reeeeaaaalllllyyyy praying it is the one we get. we will be back at our old church (where micah grew up, where we went when we were first married, where his parents still attend, where we have missssseeeeddd terribly since we left for locational reasons.) we would be 5 minutes from church and school instead of 20 minutes. eeee-laaaaaaa-ted. that would rock my socks friends. it will be a tiny bit bitter sweet to leave this house as it was our first and all of my babies came home to this house. but....if you come to town, YOU CAN COME STAY WITH ME!! not just on my couch. you'd have your very own private area to sleep in (ok. it will double as the play room. but you wouldn't mind to move that truck or car or princess wand would you??)

alright. gotta run. lunch is calling me. i've already started packing b/c i'm nuts and too excited to sit still. so please pray for this next leg of buying a house (so i don't have to find a box to put my children in b/c that would mean we were homeless!!)

while i completely need to tell you about my girl date, i need your prayers please. you know we have had our house on the market for a while. since august. and we have shown it i think 25 times since then according to the realtor cards we have racked up. so obviously...TIRED.OF.IT. doesn't even begin to explain it (stupid economy.) we want to move, not because we can't afford what we have, but because we have seriously out grown every thing but the yard. and when God sends a semi-flood, the yard isn't an option.

all that to say...WE GOT AN OFFER ON OUR HOUSE YESTERDAY!! we are waiting to hear back on our counter offer. we have picked out a house that would be perfection for us. so please, today of all days, i covet your prayers on our behalf, and on the behalf of the other 2 families that would be involved, that everything would go smoothly. our tentative close date would be june 15th (3 days after we get back from the beach and 5 days before sis's birthday party. but i can do it.)
