not everone was excited about luke going to kindergarten...
on the way to school this morning,(which for the inaugural first day included all 5 tuckers) luke said "Seth, I'll miss you while I'm at school." "Luke, I'll miss you too." Seth said "Mama, I sure will miss my brother..."
Luke's teacher is Mrs. Carter. Seth is feeling better for now (nothing like a little Blue's clues and finger painting.) I asked him what would make it better on the way home. He said "when my brother comes home...". can you even stand it??
unlike seth, Luke and I couldn't have been more excited!!

OH MY GOSH -- that first photo made me almost cry. How sweet -- and absolutely heartbreaking!
Congratulations on the Big Day, Luke!
So sweet. I'm at home with H today and O is at school and he's asked for him about 453 times. Poor guy. Whose projects will he destroy? Whose stuff will he steal? I guess I should go set up a train track or 2 so he can destroy them.
Congrats on the first day! Can't wait to hear how it goes! I know Seth will make it!
That is the sweetest and saddest thing! Bless little Seth's heart! What a big day for Luke!
So awesome!! Can't believe he's in kindergarten!! Sad for Seth though... :)
how sweet! he just wanted someone there to fight with:). glad luke was so excited!
Awww when I saw the pictures of him in tears, it reminded me of Marah last year when we left Joshua at school. This year was not so bad, because Marah and MAcy walked in with me and they both gave Joshua BIG hugs and we left. IT was 2 hours later and Marah was already asking when we go pick him up. She starts preschool in Sept. Can't believe how big your kiddos look and now AC is walking. Macy has taken a couple of steps, so the time is close.
What a sweet picture of two brothers loving one another!
Oh my, that first picture made me cry! Good luck Luke! You will be great!
SO SWEET!!! And like everyone else, that first picture was just heartbreaking. I don't know what Little David would do if I sent Tot off somewhere. I think he would just up and die.
Anyways, Hurray for the Big Kindergartener!!!
Oh Becky, I cannot take it. Those sweet boys... melt my heart!
Oh that's too cute!
Aw, so cute! We've got our first day of Kindergarten in a week, and I'm sure our younger son will feel the same way. Its so great to see them developing such strong bonds.
