one of those days already

could someone please tell rosemary that the daycare is now closed and someone can come and get her babies? wow. it's only 8:30 and i have given out 4 spankings and luke has been in time out since he received his first 3 spankings 45 minutes ago. he is that stubborn about not answering what he did to get in trouble and not apologizing. he is trying to lure seth to his room now to let him out.

seriously, i hate to think about what the day would have been like if i hadn't spent some time praying this morning. little boys and them having self control are definitely not synonymous. which means mama doesn't always have it, but hopefully praying about it this morning (like praying for patience i guess) is what spurned this fit.

and...my 4 year old is the only one who doesn't understand the concept of "why"? God, have mercy on me today because i need it in a major way.

in house news, a couple came last wednesday to look at our house and then brought her husband back on friday to look at it and my MIL who was here babysitting said they had a notebook and was stepping off from out building to the driveway (like for another drive). so we will see. i think they were gonna make a decision between ours and another 1 or 2 the beginning of this week. so just pray that we are accepting of whatever God has in store for us.

UPDATE: finally...apoligies made, the reason given...and it only took an hour.

UPDATE#2: NEVER EVER EVER WILL I PRAY ABOUT SELF CONTROL AGAIN. IT IS THE EXACT SAME AS PRAYING FOR PATIENCE. LET THIS BE A LESSON LEARNED.

You know better than to pray for patients. What in the world were you thinking just asking for that tribulation! I pray that God will work things out with you house and that your day will be a better day.
Love ya,

LOL, did you pray for me to have self-control too? Emma spilled half a bottle of pink acrylic paint on my couch and floor yesterday. I've been scrubbing on it all day and still don't have it completely out. I also picked up a pen and she had rubbed Blistex all over it. Maybe we should plan an all girls vacation!
